The Hullabaloo Family Arts Festival brings some of San Diego’s award winning musicians, dancers, local authors and educators together for a fun-filled family day celebrating the arts! In addition, local businesses will gather to help create a lively and interactive marketplace for children and parents alike.
Families will experience a vast array of activities. Your children will definitely be entertained and educated. This event is sure to please everyone in the family. And for your taste buds, not only will you be surrounded by local shops and restaurants, but local food trucks such as Miho Gastro Truck (2), Food Farm San Diego and Mr. Groggy’s! You can also bring your own food to help save some cash!
Some of the fun activities include a Children’s Literature Zone featuring two of our favorite SD Moms in Business Katheryn Cloward, author of Kathryn the Grape and Joann Woolley, owner of Sign 4 baby. Other exciting ‘zones’ include the Creativity Zone, Handmade Market, Dress Up Zone and the Musical Petting Zoo!
The Hullabaloo Family Arts Festival is the brainchild of Steve Denyes and Brendan Kremer of the Hullabaloo Band. is farm-fresh, free-range, organic kid-folk in a genre filled with musical Twinkies and Ding-Dongs. The San Diego Union Tribune calls this duo, “Certified rock stars among the preschool set.”
Event Details
When: Saturday, September 22nd from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Liberty Station NTC Promenade, also know as the North Promenade
Admission: $7 per person; children under the age of 1 are free; Family Pack of tickets: $25 for up to five family members total!
